Driving around Amman
We've made it to Downtown. Around some corners, between some buildings, we can see the Temple of Hercules rising above the Citadel. What we can't see is a parking spot. Then, the road we're on sends us out of Downtown.
"Is this the Third Circle?" I ask.
"I don't know. Turn here," she says. "Here!"
"Where?" I ask, going around the roundabout again. "Are you sure?"
"If you don't want my opinion," she says, "don't ask."
"I just want some falafel."
At this rate, we'll see all nineteen hills of Amman before lunch.
